Staff Background
Our Teachers are chosen on the basis of their education, experience, knowledge of young children and on the quality of their character. Each staff member attends local annual conferences and workshops for professional development in early childhood education. All staff are CPR and First Aid Certified. We have a MAT Certified staff on site to safely administer Medication.

Our Lead Teachers are responsible for planning and implementing the curriculum that is based on developmentally appropriate practices and meets the needs of the whole child
Our Child Care Center strives to continually improve our best practices and are proud partners with the following organizations:
USDA Food Program offered through The Planning Council enabling us to offer nutritious and healthy food and snacks
Children's Harbor Infant and Toddler Program giving our daycare access to a wealth of knowledge, support and mentoring on the care of infants and toddlers.
Hampton Roads Small Business Development Center Early Education Business Program – a nationally recognized program for childcare businesses that trains and supports best business practices in Early Childhood Education.
Virginia Beach Libraries Program – We are very excited to announce that the Library lends appropiate books to our center monthly to encourage and support early literacy activities at the center.
Our center is NAEYC ACCREDITED . NAEYC is the gold standard of accreditation in Early Childhood Education and Amberley Child Care is committed to the highest level of quality.
