Our Teachers are chosen on the basis of their education, experience, knowledge of young children and on the quality of their character. Each staff member attends local annual conferences and workshops for professional development in early childhood education. Most staff are certified in CPR and First Aid.

Our Lead Teachers are responsible for planning and implementing the curriculum that is based on developmentally appropriate practices and meets the needs of the whole child

Children's Harbor Infant and Toddler Program giving our daycare access to a wealth of knowledge, support and mentoring on the care of infants and toddlers.
Hampton Roads Small Business Development Center Early Education Business Program – a nationally recognized program for childcare businesses that trains and supports best business practices in Early Childhood Education.
Virginia Beach Libraries Book Mobile Program – We are very excited to announce that the Book Mobile will be visiting the center monthly to encourage and support early literacy activities at the center.
Our center has begun the process to become NAEYC certified. NAEYC is the gold standard of accreditation in Early Childhood Education and Amberley Childcare is committed to the highest level of quality.
